I have large borders on my desktop today. The screen was fine yesterday.. but today The desktop is displaying only portionally. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have windows 8.1 on this laptop.

right click the desktop go to screen resolution then then choose the recomended setting

Thank you.. I did as you recommended and I am now seeing the full desktop display. Just selecting the recommended settings worked.

As I mentioned.. it was fine yesterday when I shut down... but today it was a reduced display screen.. don't know how it happened.

I appreciate your help.
