I have product key and I'd but I don't know what windows 8 to download

I used windows 8 I deleted and install windows 7. I keeped product id and key for w 8 but I will like to reinstall w 8 and I don't know what version of w 8 to download.

Well there's only two versions of Windows 8.1 - the standard version and Pro. So if you don't know what key your version is good for it's more than likely the standard version. Only downgrade to Windows 7 if you know for sure that there's drivers available for your system.

There are only Window 8 and 8 Pro (excluding any N versions). Product id probably won't help you. You definitely need a legitimate window 8 or 8 Pro key.

Don't forget, you can always 'downgrade' to windows 7 if you own a legit window 8 key. It's another one of those hidden legal rights they don't tell you about. Forget 8, it's a mess, go with 7.
