I have some questions about audio interfaces

I'm quite new to audio interfaces and I can't seem to find any answers to my questions.
1. Can I set up an audio interface to output all my PC sounds to my speakers?
2. Can I control my PCs volume through the audio interface?
3. Can I use a digital mic on things like skype and games?
4. Can I choose what audio comes out of my headphones and speakers
