I have the lumix DMC-FZ70 and want to record and see it on my mac book. Am i able to do this and if so how?

I want to be able to record myself and be able to see it on my mac book at the same time. will i be able to do that with my type of camera

Not like a webcam, no. But Lightroom has tethered capture support for your camera.
