i have to disconnect source cable from battery of my tab everytime i want to start it. whats wrong?

sometimes my tab wont turn on or charged.
but when i remove the cover and unplugged the source cable of the battery, and try to start it. it start without any problems.
the thing is that i have to do it frequently.....once or twice a week.
what could be the reason??
does it have something to do with the battery?

Try a different battery. If that does not help, try replacing the cable.
