I just replaced a capacitor to get my tv back on, but now my hpn5039 samsung plasma doesn't have sound and the picture is black and white. I can't find a factory rest anywhere for this older model plasma

Unplugging it overnight should reset the TV.

Resetting it may not help. There may be more wrong with it than just the power supply cap.

Agreed. These Samsung capacitor issues run the gamut, and can be quite complicated to repair.
