I just switched to iPhone 16 Pro Max from iPhone 13 Pro — 7 features that make it worth upgrading

Sorry, but I don't think you answered your own question about why you like the 16 ProMax better than the 16 Pro..

You started out saying you would discuss why the Pro Max was preferable to the Pro, and for me, it seemed like that could be useful to know since I will also be upgrading from a 13 Pro, and am wondering if the ProMax is worth a try.

But other than the obvious size ("easier to type", etc), ALL of the things you said you like about the 16 ProMax are COMMON to the 16 Pro! So your post amounts to:

"Here are some reasons I like both 16 Pros compared to the 13 Pro... And the Pro Max is bigger, so it's easier to type on, and it isn't as heavy as in the past since both Pros now have a titanium frame."

Am I missing anything?

I currently have the iPhone 13PM in Alpine Green. It's my favorite iPhone so far and still has several years of updates left. I kept my 8 Plus (my previous favorite) for 5 years before I traded up to the 13PM and still got $140.00 towards my 13PM at the Apple store. Not much in the 16PM over the 13PM that is tempting me to upgrade. At this point the 13PM still has 88% battery health, so I'll probably just replace the battery sometime next year or so, put on a new case and screen protector, give it a new wallpaper, do a full reset, and keep it for a few more years.

In the mean time the 13PM takes great pictures and videos, plays any music I want to hear, lets me watch tv shows and movies, makes and takes phone calls, surfs the web, gets and sends messages and emails, and importantly still gives me all day+ battery life.😉

Hey, thanks for your comment!

Some of the things I mentioned that are different between the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max besides price and the titanium chassis are the Action Button, Camera Control, Dynamic Island, USB-C charging, and Always-on Display.

I hope that clears things up! Remember that my post compared the experience of switching from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 16 Pro Max, not comparing the two 16 Pro models. If you want to know the differences between the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, you can read about them here. But if you are interested in the iPhone 16 Pro over the Pro Max (especially if you're upgrading from an iPhone 13 Pro), since you get all those same features, just in a smaller device.

Have an awesome week!
