sir i have kept a hdd passowrd in my dell inspiron N5010 laptop and now i want to remove it.......how??????

Open the BIOS, and navigate to where you set the password (probably under 'security'). There should be a 'change HDD password' and/or a 'remove HDD password' option. If there's a remove password option, use it. If there's only a change password option, try setting the new password to nothing.

Sorry but if we told you that, we'd be telling anyone who reads it how to remove someone else's password.

You will need to know the password before you can carry that out.
