I've been looking at a few laptops for gaming but haven't found good one for $1500 (give or take $150)

Use:
Pretty hard gaming, school.

Budget:
$1650

Graphics:
Nvidia Geforce Gtx 770m

CPU:
Intel core i7 (no less than 2.7-3.7 ghz)

Brand:
Any except for toshiba or Lenovo (had a few bad experiences with those)

Screen:
14-16 inch HD 1080p

Design:
Well, dont need a MacBook design or something like that but something nice (not too messy or fat)

It should last me at least 4-5 years in the next gen gaming world.

Same boat, ive liked the msi and alienware, but read a lot of issues with thermals and throttling. The asus rog models, there is like 6, offer great cooling and superb hardware. At $1600, you should be able to get the i7, gtx 760-770, bluray, 16gb ram, 1-2tb hhd and possibly the ssd as well depending on sales. this laptop is great, kind of heavy, but great.

Thanks,

I've looked at the asus rog models and i think the g750jx suits my needs. The only thing is that its 17 inch and is a but hard to carry but it is a good first option.

Yes, its a beast, but the best. In smaller lighter terms, lenevo y510 is another great option, run around $1000, and right now several models to be had for $800. Then there is the 410 14". For around $800-1000 as well. Both offer sli graphics models as well. I liked the asus due to the cooling, plus the fact it has 2x 3.25" bays, one for ssd one for hhd. But now that msata has Samsung and capacity up to 1tb now I guess any other gaming laptop can be had with hhd and add a msata ssd.

I would recommend the GIGABYTE P25W-CF1 for $1,499:

http://www.xoticpc.com/gigabyte-p25wcf1-p-6245.html

Pros:
+ Core i7-4700MQ
+ GTX 770m
+ 2 mSATA ports so that you can add mSATA SSD drives in the future. (one is occupied)
+ 2 fans and dual exhaust. One for the CPU and one for the GPU. Both can run a lower speed to reduce fan noise, but still effective for cooling.
+ 4 Channel speakers
+ Matte screen which is not damn reflective like a glossy screen (at least it's a plus for me)
+ Comes standard with 128GB mSATA SSD + 1TB HDD - The OS is installed on the SSD
+ Comes standard with 8GB of RAM
+ It has a 2 year warranty

Cons:
- Yellow cover
- Comes with Win 8 installed (a con for me)
- Win 7 install costs $104.
- Extending the warranty for another year (3 years total) is expensive; $245 - $299

I recommend the IC Diamond thermal paste option for $35.
I highly recommend

IC Diamond is high quality thermal paste that helps cool down the CPU. It is rated amongst one of the better thermal paste out there.

Well, generally speaking, the more powerful the CPU the more you have to be willing to pay for it. And it can be pretty expensive the higher the clockspeed. If you are unwilling to pay the extra $$ for the i7-4800mq, then it's best to stick with the i7-4700mq.

Well yea, but sager np8235 is coming for $1600 for i7-4800mq and 12 gig ram+ssd. But I HATE its design so i put it aside. Well, cyberpower seems good when I looked at it and also iBuyPower Valkyrie 15 inch. Do you have any advise on those?

Not really any advice on those since I don't really specialize in expensive gaming laptops. The reason why I recommended the Gigabyte was because it had decent expansion options and more importantly dual exhausts and dual fans that should keep the laptop cooler and quieter compared to laptops with only one exhaust and fan.
