I need a really good gaming laptop under 800

I am looking for a good gaming laptop under $800 I am looking to run games such as, battlefield 4, watch dogs, and basically next-gen games. I live in canada so plz link to Canadian websites and for totals tell it in Canadian money, Thank you very much for helping me and have a good day

There is but one laptop that can be recommended for budget gaming. The Lenovo Y510p. Get it. Later, once you feel it start to slow down, you can actually purchase a second graphics card to go in the disk drive slot. The system means performance. Alternatively, just out of curiosity, why not build a desktop? For that price you should be able to create a budget beast. Why do you need a gaming laptop?

Doesn't the Lenovo Y510P have two graphic cards already? Perhaps you meant another drive, i.e. SSD? I seriously considered this laptop not ling ago, but bought from Cyberpower.

The Lenovo Y510p has a couple varients, including ones with a single GTX 750m or GTX 755m. The way that SLI works on these laptops is another graphics card is inserted into the "Ultrabay" slot (it can be used for ODD, HDD, SSD, or a graphics card). Some versions ship with SLI, meaning that a graphics card already populates that slot. I do not think you will be able to find an SLI model for under $800 though.

The 15.6" Y510p starts at $919; the ones with dual GT 755m graphic chips starts at over $1,200. However, the 14" Y410p does start at under $800 but it only has a 1366x768 resolution screen. The $829 version has a 1600x900 resolution screen.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize the Lenovo y510p had a number of variants. The one I considered was in the $1300+ range.

In terms of performance, the Y410p starts around the same level as the Y510p, but the Y410p is a but cheaper (I think it starts at $800), so if you don't mind the smaller screen it may be for you.
