Basically my PC has broken and it was old anyway, it's time to replace it BUT I won't be gettign another PC due to the fact I will be going uni in september so Its pointless for a PC as a laptop is more useful, only thing is my budget is £400
can anyone help me find a laptop in that range that can play fifa 12 to a suitable standard

Thanks in advance

Start with the FIFA recommended requirements and look for a laptop that meets them.... put them together and find one that is in your $$$ range.

While not amazing, intel HD graphics are quite suitable for most games at mid-settings so long as you are at 1080p or under. Obviously if you could afford one with nVidia or AMD graphics it would be better, but I have found HD2000 to be adequate, and HD3000 to be just fine for most uses. It is really too bad that you cannot wait for Ivy Bridge to come out as the integrated HD graphics on this should be really good, and will provide a much better battery life than the current crop out there.

Any Idea when "IVY bridge" will be out?

Also I really appreciate your help guys :)
I thought I would need dedicated graphics for it atleast but know otherwise.

It's going to be a few months yet before the high end Ivy Bridge CPUs arrive.
And I think a few more months before the mainstream (£400 budget) models start arriving.
I think you're looking at early to mid summer time frame.
