i need to remove the faceplate of Sony TC-558 reel to reel, how do I remove the 2 arm tensioners ?

i need to remove the faceplate of Sony TC-558 reel to reel, I removed all the screws, but not sure how to I remove the 2 arm tensioners so I can lift up the faceplate.
