Review I really wanted to love the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, but it’s complicated — here’s why

I guess I see your points with a 4090 GPU model, but none of this seems to be a problem with the 4070 model I have. I would never buy such a thin laptop for 4090 gaming in the first place. Maybe that's on Asus for even trying to offer that when the physics suggest it will never work, even with a vapor chamber. However, the 105W for a 4070 is the sweet spot, in my opinion. I put it up against an MSI GE68HX 4070 with fans running at full speed and they have nearly identical TimeSpy benchmarks so the 105W vs the 140W in the MSI really doesn't make any difference.

Also, wondering why this article shows the DCI-P3 color gamut is only 78% when every other spec sheet I've seen - from third parties as well - say it is 100%? Was it measured specifically by the reviewer? Just wondering if that is accurate or not?

I think anyone buying this with a 4060 or 4070 will be very happy with it. If you want a 4090, yeah - buy a different model.
