I tracked my day at CES with the new Garmin Instinct 3 — and walked over 17,000 steps

Your reviews are almost always of brand-new products. I have a 5 year old Garmin Fenix. I can tell you that your long lasting battery assessment is only valid for a year or so. Then you're charging it every week, every couple of days, every day....pretty soon it doesn't make it through a day. And while they label it a watch, you can't just take it in to the neighborhood watch battery place to get a new battery. Changing the battery in a Garmin is a long involved battle requiring skill, special tools, knowledge, and help from highly compensated technicians.

That's my first problem with Garmin batteries; second problem is that you can't charge them with ordinary cords, available all around the house, anywhere you may go, no, it has to be a special GARMIN cord.
