I tried resetting my laptop now it comes on and turns back off

I tried resetting my laptop but now it turns on for 2mins and switches back off

That is most likely a motherboard issue, when you said you "tried" resetting your laptop, what exactly did you do and why did you do it? Was it not working before? Did this reset work? By reset do you mean a factory restore?
