I want all sounds to come from headset when in use.

I tried out the Razer Surround and didn't really like it that much, so I uninstalled it, now I believe that it messed up how I want audio to be. When I connect my Tritton headset (USB) to the computer, I can hear skype sounds and my friends talking, but I can't hear games or videos on the web, the sound is coming from my speakers. When I disconnect my headset, all the sounds come from the speaker just fine. What I want it to be though is when I connect my headset, what it would always do before I installed Razer Surround, is that all the sounds would be in my headset, and when I have it disconnected sounds would come to the speakers. Any way I can redo that point again? I have windows 8 btw.

Go into sound via control panel and right click your headset, set it as default device.

Thanks, however, it used to do it automatically, is there a way to do that, just wondering.

it should be automatic from here on out unless you change the settings.

Nope, it still does not automatically switch over, and I did not change anything. I still see that I have to do it manually, but if it could automatically switch, it will make my life simpler.

The only solution I can think of is to not unplug your headset. Sorry about that one.
