I was a die-hard Chromecast fan until I tried the Roku Ultra — and now I'm not going back

While it is a nice article. The whole point of Chromecast is to cast from other devices (PCs and such) to the TV. You mentioned in passing that Roku Ultra does this but never explained HOW to do it?

I have owned both since each came out and I have never seen a cast option on my Roku Ultra.

Now I am about to look up how but I read your entire article expecting to read how Ultra casts. Instead I wasted time reading about features I'm well aware of.

I bought one because of reviews like this one. But the device doesn't have access to Disney plus outside of USA (at least not in Denmark) - Disney simply hasn't licenced it. So I couldn't use it.

I have both Roku and Firestick. The only reason I don't like Roku is because it doesn't have internet access to free stream sites. The only way is you have to download a 3rd party app and it's not easy to use.
But on Firestick I can go right to Amazon Silk and put the web address of a stream site and watch all movies and series that are on prime, Apple, Hulu, max for free. By having this access I don't need Hulu, Netflix and all the other apps. And no need to download a VPN or worry about installing a 3rd party app to watch .

I have 2 generations of chromecast, android TV, firestick 4k and Roku 4k. Honestly, there's very little between them for the average user... I got the firestick to get high bitrate Amazon music, the Roku to watch the Weird Al movie, and 99.95% of the time I'm using the built in android TV out of pure simplicity. There really isn't a enough of a difference to "never turn back"...
