I didn't know but it was in my pocket the whole time. I even went on 4 slides with it. I stayed on the pool for about 20 minutes. I tried putting it in rice overnight but it still won't turn on. Should I plug in a charger? Or should I replace my battery?

If you live somewhere near that has one of those drying stations you could try that. Otherwise, you're probably SOL'd.

With all the chemicals in pool water I don't rate your chances of saving it. Its probably too late now but the only thing I could think of would be putting it in bottled water for a while to clean out the chemicals left behind, chlorine is very corrosive and might continue to do damage if not cleaned out even after it has dried out. The problem is water shorts out all the components so its possible permanent damage was instant.

Did you find a solution to your phone? I jumped in the swimming pool for about 3 minutes before realizing I had my brand new iPhone 6 in my pocket. It's been in a bag of rice right now.

i would suggest you open the iphone and remove the battery, asap. then let it dry

were you able to get your iphone 6 working? I must have had the iphone for 20 mins before I realized. drained the water out of it and then put it in a bag of silica gel and it still there. Wanted to know if anyone else has had luck with waking up the iphone
