I have a hp g60 notebook pc and my motherboard has blown out. I had replace it on my own. The notebook tends to keep over heating no idea why. Even as i set it on a laptop desk. It still tends to over heat. So i sit my laptop on top of two books to give it more ventilation for cooling. I need to use notebook for school and other things i do online.

you could also put it in the bathtub with cold water - should cool it off quickly so you could use it for a longer period of time.

You need to purchase a cooling unit for your laptop. Some of the models are under 20.00.
