i7 6700hq + satassd or i7 6500u + nvme for coding?

Hi guys im upgrading from my surface pro 1 (i5, 4gb ram)

I use visual studio, sql server, vmware, android emulator, occasional gaming (diablo 2, dosbox)

Which is more beneficial for my case?

A powerful 6700hq + normal sata ssd?

Or less powerfull 6500 + speedy samsung pci e nvme ssd? (customised)

I cannot have both 6700hq and nvme because of limited budget

Any advice is greatly appreciated
