Hi -- My wifes ideapad s340 got wet. Water spilled and went underneath the laptop. No water on top. Now the power lite is continually lit, can't power it off, and the screen is black.

What's the best way to dry this out? I'm concerned that water may have gotten in the grid openings on the bottom. We'll leave it sit as is for awhile.

Any hope of it working again?

I don't have the small torx bits so I can't remove the bottom.

Any other suggestions (-- apart from getting another laptop)?

If you scatter some raw rice, it will suck up the liquid but I fear it was too late when you were writing your post. Getting the stuff out but it's difficult but it's better than sucking up the water with a straw.
