IDM exits when downloading queue in background

I use registered IDM 6.07
When i download files in a queue, IDM exits after downloading the current file if i switch to any other application like (adobe reader, ms office, vlc, any game etc.) or if i minimize it to tray.
It happens everytime i reopen IDM and start the queue and switch to any other application.
If i keep the IDM screen active on my monitor screen without switching to any other program, IDM downloads the whole queue without exiting.
Why does this happen and is there any way to cure this ?
I don't think there is an issue with hardware compatibility but i'm giving the specs, just in case...
I am using Win 7 Ultimate
Hardware specs:
Intel pentium 4 3.07 GHz processor
2 GB Ram
500 GB HDD (and is working fine)
onboard graphics
