I'm looking for a compatible CPU to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite l755-s5244 with

I want to upgrade my cpu for the laptop, because it's been having trouble doing minimal tasks, I've already upgraded ram and ssd, the only other thing I need is a cpu. I'm having trouble finding one that is compatible or what type the cpu even is. Any help would be much appreciated

Run dxdiag on your system, you will find your current CPU. Issue is that with laptops, even finding the same socket CPU does not mean your motherboard will work with it, and your CPU may be soldered to the motherboard.
