i got 2 days ago a £150 robot window cleaner. it has the same m.o. as the winbot - you fill a wee reservoir and it squirts and buffs over your window. it doesn't do a great job and I'm thinking of returning it, it reminds me of the early robovacs that mopped by dragging a wet rag behind them. the dirt has nowhere to go. is the winbot really any better than the one i got (and why?). or should i wait a couple of years for one that trails a tube as well as a power cord so it can actually wash away the dirt instead of evenly smearing it over the window?
