So at long last I am finally getting a new laptop for my birthday. And I need help on what to go with. I'm receiving this as a present from my parents, but I am choosing it since they don't know much about specific needs of it.

The needs for this is mainly for work horsing. Like I am using it form Decent gaming (med to high graphic settings), and streaming(I have a current desktop pc for gaming and streaming but I'd like this to use when I move from office chair to living room party streaming games). As well as using it for school, I am a graphic Designer so I need to handle Adobe Cloud well.

I am also possibly using this to stream games from to a Steam Link I am getting over the summer for my house.

So the range I'd like to stay in form them is like $800-$1200(Maybe $1500)

So let me know what I should looks towards in the Market.

The easiest way to tackle this is knowing what you need in components. Based on what you said, you need an i7 with four true cores (the mobile i5 CPUs are only two physical cores, not four cores like their desktop brothers). Then for gaming you need one with a dedicated graphics card internally, it's preferable to get one with 16GB RAM. Also a 17.3" screen will be much better for gaming and graphics design than a 15.4" one.

Here are four to give you an idea. The Dell here has a faster GPU (GTX 970 vs. 960 for the others) but it has 8GB vs. 16GB memory...that can always be easily upgraded later though cheaply. It is also the most expensive at $1400 but IMO the best of the bunch.
