In the market for a new phone, what do you think? S3? iPhone?

Hey all!
So, I've had the Droid 2 Global for about 17 months, and I've had nothing but problems with it since I got it. The touch screen is incredibly glitchy and will open apps at random, call and text people when I'm not even using the phone, send files to people by itself, and the most common issue is the screen shaking and opening a random window, and no matter how many times I hit the back button it keeps going back to that window. I've talked to other people who have had the Droid 2 and the Droid 2 Global and they all report similar problems.
Anyway, I'm getting a new phone tomorrow and I'm pretty much set on the Galaxy S3, but I wanted a second opinion. I'm a senior in college majoring in Comp. Sci. with a concentration in Android Development and I'd like a phone that I can develop with. I'd also like a phone that I can use to manage my stocks and finances. Ideally, what would you recommend?

Samsung S III or Galaxy Note 2 (for the bigger screen size and other items "S-Pen"). If I was buying today I would get either one of those phones. It's ultimately up to you and what you expect out of the phone, but that is my choices. iPhones are good phones, but I don't like the way they are and the way Apple runs there business (handles customers, etc.).

What about the note 3 as it can sync with the galaxy gear watch?
I would also record the Nokia Lumina 1520 beast of a phone with 21mega pixel camera..
Or you could wait six months and get a phone with a curved scream
And s4??
