incoming and outgoing problem

whenever i pick up an incoming call i am not able to hear the person's voice on the other end and even when i call back the problem persists.

Did you get the speaker wet? Are you even useing a phone? I need a bit more info to give you any kind of guess as to whats wrong.

No nothing of that sort happened.This problem began when i called someone just after i switched it on.

Well thats strange its either a hardware failure in the phone meaning the speaker broke or something that has to do providing sound to the speaker broke. Or it could be a problem with your carrier i would call your phone company with another phone tell them the problem and see what they think.

But i don't really think its a problem with the speaker because the sound functioning is alright. Is speaker for playing songs different than the one used for answering calls?
