I'm using a Toshiba Satellite E55t-A5320. Specs are Intel Core i5-4200U @ 1.60GHz (up to 2.60, mine usually runs 2.3GHz all the time), 12 GB of 1600MHz DDR3, a 500GB 5400RPM Hitachi HDD, and Intel HD Graphics 4400. OS is Windows 10 Technical Preview, build 6.4.9860 . Yes, I know that FSX runs best on a 4GHz i7, but I don't have any money and I need to use this laptop for school as well.
I ALREADY OWN THIS LAPTOP, so I'm not requesting advice on what to buy. What I do want to know, is if there's a way to increase my FPS. For example, on a freeware Thomas Ruth A330-200 , I'm getting about 15FPS average. If I try to use good freeware planes such as POSKY 777-300ER, my FPS tanks to about 8 average. So are there any tweaks I should use specific to my system? I'm not using any payware, only freeware planes. And I don't use traffic packages because FPS again will take a hit...
