Will this be Fermi powered,it could drive the graphics and provide the heat at the same time, eliminating the need for a separate heating element. Just think of the long term cost savings ;-P

Cool design. Now imagine the touch interface setting the temperature (where you're holding this thing) and inadvertently changing the heat to iron all your Silks with the Cotton setting. Lawsuit waiting to happen. ;-) Then again, the price tag will sure limit it to a few that will blame the house keeper rather than the device.

I gave up on ironing years ago. Wash/dry/fold services by the pound are available a lot of places. I only wash jeans, t-shirts, towels, sheets, undergarments and other non-iron clothes at home. Business shirts, khaki's and the wife's dresses all go to the cleaners. Costs me about $10 every 2 weeks at $0.50/lb (since all that stuff is light weight). It comes back on hangars (saving there), not to mention the energy and detergents, plus the hassle of ironing. I'd say maybe I'm loosing $3-5 a month using the service instead of doing it at home. WELL worth it.

There's a place right next to my main grocery store, so I'm not even wasting gas or time... and on a few occasions, they've burned, ripped, or inked some of our stuff, so we've gone shopping, brought them a receipt, and they paid us for the item (free replacement clothes).
