Info about Sound Blaster 5.1 VX

Hi everybody.
I was wondering if anyone here had any info on the Sound Blaster 5.1 VX? The onboard on my PC died, and i wanted to replace it for a cheap audio solution, I'm not looking for anything fancy, just decent 5.1 audio output. The OS is Win XP Pro SP3 (not planning to upgrade to Vista or 7).
I originally had my sights on a used turtle beach santa cruz over ebay, but i just saw the aforementioned SB 5.1 VX with a local dealer at pretty much the same price. I've been looking for info about it, but Creative's site is useless (just basic promotional info) and googling didn't turn out much (other than it apparently uses a CA0106 DSP), so info or reccommendations are appreciated.

I don't know about the "VX". But I have an old, well 2008 or so, SB Audigy SE lying around.
