IF homebuilt pc, then figure out what MB you have, look for a "front panel audio header" in the MB specs, then see if it is empty or delivering audio somewhere else. The case with the empty hole where the headphone jack used to be should have come with the cable that goes from the MB to the headphone jack.

IF the MB is part of a name-brand computer (hp, lenovo, dell, etc) then the audio connector will be non-standard. Check on EBAY for a used replacement part. For example, here is a $5 lenovo part that likely does not fit your computer, but gives you an idea what you are looking for https://www.ebay.com/itm/lenovo-host-case-USB-HD-AUDIO-MIC-Board-Front-I-O-Panel/381713297095?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D48740%26meid%3Dd0070f6448bb4ae3a29ea0bc90817cee%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D311246860004&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
