im looking to buy a gaming laptop, not too expensive, hopefully ~ £1000, maximum £1,100. Already have a PC, so not looking for a desktop replacement, just something for travel.
Ive been trying to decide between the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (here, middle config) or the MSI GL62M 7RD (here).
If anyone has any advice or any other suggestions, it would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Both use very low quality displays. See this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/5rhfuc/the_inspiron_7567_tn_display_why_it_matters/

I think you'll find the difference between a good display and a not-so-good one to be one of the absolute most noticeable things. And for gaming in particular, a poor display can be considered to defeat some of the purpose of buying a 'gaming' laptop: to make games look better. I think you'll get your best gaming experience by making your priorities: Good GPU + Good Display. Neither of the two you're looking at meet this combo, so I'd look elsewhere.

Both of these come with much better displays:
