Inspiron N5030 Touchpad and Keyboard not working

Hello

I replaced a HDD on an Inspiron N5030. I installed all the drivers and the keyboard and touchpad were working. They suddenly stopped working, and the touchpad no longer shows up in Device Manager. The keyboard works outside the Windows environment, like in the boot menu. The touchpad doesn't work at all any more. Any help is appreciated.

Did you try testing both the keyboard and the touchpad in any distribution of Linux ? Ubuntu for example ? If they work there then try reinstalling your system. If not then it's the hardware problem.
