I've seen advice to install new drivers, but I can't get in to do that, because one of the keys not working is in my password. Laptop is a Dell Inspirion 15 5000 series.
I changed my password (on another device) to something I could type with the working keys. The computer says my keyboard driver is correct and up to date. Dell site test says the same thing.
Could be a defective keyboard. In a word processor, you can type a document with every key, upper and lower case, to isolate the key giving you trouble. Also, make sure you have the correct language set for your keyboard.

No. It was working perfectly until the moment I installed Windows 10.
