installing gaming ram in a non-gaming laptop

i have a lenovo g50-80, with a core i5 cpu and amd radeon m330 and i play some games with it(BF4,LoL,ASC, etc)...i just want to know if a gaming ram will work on my laptop, im planning to buy the kingston hyperx impact 8gb DDR3L
(just for info, i also use autocad 2015 with this laptop)
