Hello,
I have a toshiba satellite l750-1e5 with a i3 2330m 2.20 processor with 6 gig of ram, 64 bit windows 7 and an intel hd gaphics 3000. I was wondering whether this will run games like skyrim, i checked the system requirements for the game and it seems to be ok but i am unsure as to how well the game may run - any advice would be appreciated.

I've tested Crysis on medium settings in chapter 2 "Relic" when I decided to test out the Intel HD 3000 in my laptop (I disabled the nVidia GT 550m). Most of the time frame rates ranged from 18 - 24 FPS, dipped as low as 15FPS and peaked at high as 29 from what I can remember.

I tried GTA IV, but for some reason the game reported that there was only 50MB of RAM available for the the Intel HD 3000 (4GB of RAM). The character Niko was simply floating in space... no floor, ceiling or walls were displayed. Oh well... maybe the GT 550m somehow confused the game even though it was disabled. Anyway, I could not replicate the video above.

Fallout 3 plays fine but you need to install the D3D9.dll file (Google that file and Fallout 3). Graphic settings were a mix of some low, but mostly medium.

In the end the Intel HD 3000 is much better than their old GMA 4500m, but it's still relatively low end solution.

I forgot to mention that, at least with my ASUS z68 motherboard, there was some included Intel software for overclocking the integrated graphics. Never really messed with it much, but it overclocked the stock 800mhz graphics core to 1400mhz and was stable. I tried some 2008 and older era games and they all ran fine. BTW, I have an 13-2100 and HD 2000 graphics.
