Hey guys, I messed up....so I have a dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming and decided to switch out the wifi card. Huge mistake that was totally unnecessary. Ive managed to damage the antennas little clips that attatch to the card. Am I screwed or is there a simple way to fix this? Im still getting from 25-75% signal but Im only 20ft away from the router. Is it supposed to be impossible to get those clips to snap onto the card? I couldnt get them to pop on and just mangled both connections. Help please!

The clips should not impact signal strength. Could you take a photo of what you've done and of the damaged parts?

Is it an option to use the replacement wifi card you bought instead?

Are you saying you damaged the ribbon cable? If so, I'd just pay a service center to swap it out.
