Internet connection problem

I have full access to skype but cannot open any website.. internet seems to be on but no website will open at all.. please help!!!

You have internet access then if you can sign into Skype. Chances are you have a virus. Boot into Safe Mode and see whether you can access any web pages then or not, or create another Windows user account, log into it, and try from there. If you're successful with either or both of those methods, you'll need a full virus scan performed (or use your recovery, or reinstall Windows).

You can try using a different browser and check, if not try resetting Internet explorer and check, if those doesn't work then you can boot computer in safe mode with networking and check for internet access
