[citation][nom]quantumrand[/nom]Personally, I dont use a smartphone. The features I would have any use for just aren't up to par on any smartphone yet. If the G1 were compatible with AT&T's 3G network, I'd have probably gotten that, but even so, I dont feel it's quite everything I'm looking for.Currently, I'm waiting to see what more Android has to offer. Some of the SonyEricsson prototypes look like they may have a lot of potential (assuming any of them make it into production). I'll probably upgrade to an Android platform this summer if the offerings are good enough.[/citation]
Fair enough, we'll keep an eye out for the upcoming Android devices too. Personally, my iPhone has paid for itself in the number of times I've been able to send important personal and work emails while I'm away from a computer, and the sheer number of people I've entertained with the "Shazam" app. To me, it is the simple, fun things that made the device worthwhile.
