Iplayer Netbook to TV/Monitor

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire One that I have connected to my LG LED TV/Monitor using VGA cable. Avi playback is perfect but when i connect to Iplayer or 4Od to playback is very choppy like there are framerate issues. Playback on the netbook monitor is perfect just the transition to the TV/Monitor where the problems arise. Any ideas why and ways around this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Most probably - your VGA connection causes the netbook to use higher resolution than on the screen, and this higher resolution needs more power from the CPU. It depends what yo are playing, some video formats need pretty beefy processor for decoding.

If you did not do it -upgrade you netbook memory from 1GB to 2GB. you might see some improvement.
