Is 300 bucks for a Straight Talk Phone too much?

I have StraightTalk and was gonna pick up either a new Samsung Galaxy S 2 Skyrocket or a new HTC Vivid on ebay for 300 bucks. Is this too much for a couple year old phone? Thanks
