Is it worth getting a DAC

Hi, Im planning on getting the SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism Headset and needed to know if it would be worth getting a DAC for them. The DAC i was looking at is the Audioengine D1 Premium 24-Bit DAC. If i don't get a DAC i will be using the onboard audio of the asus Gene vii. I'm not an extremely big audio freak, but i don't mind paying for the extra quality. The reason I ask is because the audio on the asus motherboards is supposed to be quite decent and im not sure if it will make a difference. I would get a pci-e audio card but im using all of my pci-e slots, so i will need something external. Thanks

To be honest, I am not sure that you'll notice any difference between the DAC and the onboard sound, so I would just save my money and spend it elsewhere instead
