Only one way to find out, play some games.

I have a 770 gpu and I can play most games on high settings with no aa or fx or any of that. and 1920x1080. I doubt you'd be able to play most games on ultra like Sin said. I'd guess that you could play on medium settings for most games, like Planetside 2 for example.

Well maybe your graphics card is underperforming because I have the same graphics card(760) and I can play most games high to ultra, starting from far Cry 4 (high/ultra), Tomb raider (ultra), assassin's creed black flag (ultra), metro last light (high/ultra) with only assassin's creed unity which runs at medium.
(all games running at the 40fps mark which I think is smooth enough, and fxaa or smaa anti aliasing which I have used it at 2x)

Yea I get 40fps on ultra with most games too, but I like to have 60 fps.
