Hi all,

i was on my gaming laptop doing a zoom call while hooked up to an external TV, my laptop screen started flickering slowly then started to rapidly speed up both screens then just turned off and laptop shutdown and will not power back up, is it dead?

Solution
Remove the battery and CMOS battery if there is one, remove the RAM, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds, plug everything back in and see if it turns on.

Nothing you can do without replacing the motherboard if this keeps happening. Maybe different RAM but that is not likely to fix issues when the system does not turn on.
