Is my laptop still good for gaming?

Hi people,
My cousing gave me an old laptop, it is a DELL XPS 15 and I was wondering if it is still good for gaming.

Processor: Intel Core i7 2nd generation
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M
Cache: 6MB

Basically the 525m is slightly better than the integrated graphics in Haswell, significantly worse than the integrated graphics in Skylake. If you wish to game, I would sell the laptop and buy a newer one. As mentioned the CPU is good, and it got pretty good reviews when it was released, so you may be able to find a non-gamer willing to buy it.

Yes, it is good for light gaming. I have a similar laptop config (i3 2,4ghz, 4gb ram, HD5650 1Gb) and i was able to run Crysis 3 on low. Not sure if it can play newer games.

Here are other tested games:

League of legends - maxed out
Call of duty Modern warfare 3 - maxed out
Crysis 2 - Medium
Portal 2 - Maxed out
Left 4 Dead 2 - Maxed out
Mirrors Edge - Very High
All 3 batman games - maxed out
Tomb raider 2013 - Medium - High
