Is the Lenovo IdeaPad Y50-70 is a good laptop for a graphic designer ?

Hello , i need a beast laptop for a graphic designer , the store suggested me the Lenovo IdeaPad Y50-70
for a price of 1500 $ (in my country the prices are pretty expensive )
Is this a good computer for using softwares like photoshop , 3dmax and autocad?
Is the battery good enogh ?

it's good but not the best you can get for that budget.
if you don't mind weight then check the msi gt60 dominator 424
if you want something a bit smaller then check out the sager 8258.
