These two mics look and and are described almost identically. I was going to buy the Q2U, but read where the Win 10 driver is buggy and requires the mic be unplugged and re-plugged to get it to work, a common problem. I can get a Q2U from Amazon for about $50. The ATR2100 appears to be identical and sells for a bit more. And now Audio Technica has a NEW version, the ATR2100x. Not sure what the x means, if anything, other than a marketing ploy for a new model. And it's priced even higher, at around $100. If the new model has software or hardware improvements, I"m interested, but don't want to spend double and effectively just get a Samson Q2U with a different name on it. Can anyone shed any light?
