I receantly bought a ps4 pro and connected it to this tv model and i dont think that i am getting any 4k image with the ps4 pro patched games as it looks exactly the same in picture quality as the origional ps4.Why is this as this model of tv is supposed to be a 4k tv

The 55JU6000 should work perfectly well with 4K.

You said 4K patched games...4K patched means they're upconverted 1080p games. It's already good it looks as good as a 1080p tv instead of worse. If you were not at 4K with your PS4 Pro, games would look worse.

Yes games for the ps4 pro have to be patched for them to be running at a 4k ish resolution otherwise the games run at the standard ps4 resolutions, but even so with my tv the games look no different from when i compare it with a standard ps4

At what distance are you comparing the games? You do know that the extra resolution from 4K is not visible unless you're at 3 feet or less with a 55 inch TV?

With the PS4 does the text look bigger in the game than the PS4 Pro? If yes, then you're at 4K on the Ps4 Pro, and the game is patched. That the games will look better at 4K is entirely subjective, and depends on the game. Simply adding resolution doesn't mean there's extra details.
Here's a list of patched games and the extras:

4K doesn't mean the games will look different. The difference will be minimal.

I have the same exact TV and I just recently bought the PS4 pro then I realized the TV doesn't support HDR, but does that mean I still can't also choose the 2160 RGB setting in the ps4? Because I also have it grayed out and says (Unsupported)

I receantly found out that the 2160-Rgb is for hdr and thats the reason my tv dosent support it,as for the 2160-Yuv420 wich is supported is just basik 4k.
I sit about roughly 4 feet away from my tv wich is a decent disstance but to be honest it is realy hard to tell the difference betwween 1080p and 4k,i have noticed that the picture quality on the ps4 pro is a bit sharper and brighter than normal ps4.
This must be the 4k resolution as patched games also look a bit more glossier too

Hi

floorbug I have the same TV and I'm waiting for the PS4PRO arrive. A friend told me the TV doesn't support 4k@60hz at pro. Do you have this information? When you are playing if you press the info boton at the remote control of the TV it shows 30hz or 60hz? Can you confirm that, please?

Hi Mauricio,
I tried to tell you that yes the tv does do 4k 60Hz but not HDR and said that the rise of the tomb raider looks amazing on the tv,also best thing to do is go to sound and screen settings on ps4 pro and select video output settings then video output information and it should say 3840x2160-60Hz yuv420

So, my Ps4pro has just arrived and from I can tell about Uncharted 4 I didn't like to play it at 4k. The game looks cleaner when you play at 1080p. Make the test and you will see. I don't know why, but there is a kind of smoke at the scene. I didn't like it at all. I don't know if this is because of the use of YUV. Once our TV doesn't have RGB at 2160p
