Is there a piece of software that's a hybrid between a traditional Access style database and a citation/reference manager?

Hello. I'm new to databases, and trying to set up a database that will have a large number of PDFs attached. For the other fields in the database, I need the functionality of something like like Microsoft access, but I need to be able to search within the text of my PDFs the way you can in EndNote or Mendeley . Is there a piece of software that the happy medium between the two? Some sort of extension that would let a reference manager talk to traditional database might also work.

Your question is not very clear to me, but I would advise you to use AutosyncDB to synchronize SQL databases. By the way, updates come to it automatically and stably. In the case of PDF files, you need something powerful since PDFs are all the same volume files than just tables with numbers .
