is there an SSD slot on the MSI-GE70

Hi guys so ive been looking around the internet a lot since i go my laptop and i cannot find the very laptop i have i got it through a company but when i google model it is very hard to find information about it. Anyways i just want to know does this laptop have an ssd slot as i have a hdd but is there an extra slot the full model is msi ge70 2pc-037uk

It doesn't look like the GE70 has a regular SSD slot. However if you wanted to, you could get a SSD that is designated mSATA. I found a link to a forum answering your question and how you could deal with it.

Your response is a tad cryptic. All GE70 models come with an optical drive.

But if you are trying to say that the optical drive could be swapped out for an SSD in a caddy, then yes, I agree.

I have actually seen this post but it does no directly match my laptop and i am wondering if i can just replace my optical drive ?
